Copyright Policy
Core License
The foundation license of the content presented on the Curie-ating Safety Wiki is that material falls under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) 4.0 license.
- What it means:Anyone is free to copy, modify, and redistribute the content from the site.
- The "ShareAlike" Rule:If someone changes the work, they must release their new version under the same license.
- The "Attribution" Rule:Re-users must give credit to the original author.
Contributor Obigations
When you click "Save" on the wiki, you understand two things:
- Permission to Publish:By contributing, you are officially licensing your work to the public under the site's terms (CC BY-SA)
- Originality:You must only post work that you wrote yourself or material from the public domain. Importing copyrighted text from other websites without permissions is stricly prohibited.
Content Re-Use
- No Infringement:Never use material that violates someone else's copyright.
- Fair Use: Occasionally, you may use tiny snippets of copyrighted work (like a quote or a low-resolution image) for educational purposes, but these must be clearly labeled and attributed to source or author.
- Linking: It is generally acceptable to link to other websites, but do not link to sites that you know are hosting "pirated" or infringing content.
Violations
- Suspected Violations:If a contributor finds copyrighted text on a page, they should remove it or move it to a "talk" page for discussion.
- Takedown Requests:If a copyright owner contacts you or site administration saying their work is on the wiki without permission, it will be removed in accordance with the Copyright Infringement section below to maintain "Safe Harbor" protection.

Notification
If you believe that any material on Curie-ating Safety infringes upon your copyright, please submit a notification to our site administrators immediately. Your notification should include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: Provide a clear description or title of the work you believe has been infringed.
- Location of the infringing material: Provide a link to the specific page on Curie-ating Safety where the allegedly infringing material is located.
- Your contact information: Include your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
